Fund ID 01224 | Fund Description Crawford Physics Endowment | Purpose Said funds shall be used to create the Dr. James R. Crawford Scholarship in Physics as a permanent endowment for benefit of the Department of Physics in the College of Science. Funds distributed from the endowment shall be used to award scholarships for continuing, undergraduate students majoring in Physics. Recipients will be selected by a selection committee composed of faculty members from within the Department of Physics as appointed by the Chair. Selection criteria would include, but not be limited to: academic achievement, involvement in the department, need, and future academic and career goals. Fund ID 01362 | Fund Description Facilities Scholarship Fund | Purpose • Recipient must be enrolled a minimum of 12 semester hours at Texas State University each semester and demonstrate financial need. • All Applicants must submit the Facilities Scholarship application in order to be considered. • The scholarship may be renewable contingent upon available funding. Recipients must maintain a minimum Texas State GPA of 2.5 and reapply annually by submitting a Facilities Scholarship application in order to be considered for scholarship renewal. • The recipient is a dependent of a permanent Facilities employee under the age of 26. |
Fund ID 01418 | Fund Description Women in STEM Initiative | Purpose The purpose of the fund shall be to provide financial support to students enrolled at Texas State University, prospective students, program and faculty support. The college would like to demonstrate commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) to attract and retain more women in STEM related programs of study. Students and organizations within the college will be considered for assistance from the fund and funds may be used but not limited for the following: • Assistance with planning, hosting, travel and attendance of conferences and networking events; • Awarding scholarships to rising star STEM students; • Near-peer mentoring between cmTent TXST students and prospective students; • Provide stipends for mentors to allow more commitment of time to their mentees; • Summer camp for incoming 9th graders interested in STEM. |

Fund ID 01638 | Fund Description Elizabeth Falls Scholarship Fund | Purpose The purpose of the Fund shall be to provide scholarships and financial assistance for students who meet the following criteria: At the time of application, the applicant must: • Be a freshman student, pursuing a degree from Texas State University-San Marcos, and enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits at the time of the application. • Be a current resident of one of Texas State's 20 residence halls or five apartment complexes. • Plan to reside in university housing for the following spring semester. • Demonstrate academic potential and emerging leadership qualities through participation in applicant's residence hall or apartment council, the Residence Hall Association or other student organization( s ). Fund ID 01745 | Fund Description Earl Moseley, Jr. Memorial Endowed Scholarship | Purpose Distributions from the endowment shall be used to award scholarships to students attending Texas State who meet the criteria listed below. • Recipient(s) must be a currently enrolled student in an accredited undergraduate program and in good standing at Texas State University; • Recipient(s) must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 undergraduate hours for the semester in which the scholarship is awarded; and • Recipient(s) must have a minimum 2.5 overall GPA at the time of the application. Selection of the recipient(s) shall be the responsibility of the Scholarship Selection Committee as designated by the Vice President's Office of Student Affairs in consultation of the Coalition of Black Faculty and Staff. Fund ID 01930 | Fund Description Family Association Scholarship Endowment | Purpose Distributions from the endowment shall be used to provide scholarships for entering freshmen, transfer students, and students presently enrolled at Texas State University. For entering freshmen to be considered for this scholarship, applicants must have a minimum ACT score of 24 or SAT score of 1000. Other students must have an overall 3.0 grade point average. Selection will be based on high academic ability, demonstrated leadership and envolvement in extracurricular activities and community service. Preference will be given to students of Family Association members. |
Fund ID 01938 | Fund Description Excellence Endowment for the Department of Accounting | Purpose With the approval of the dean of the college, the chair of the department of accounting may make expenditures from distributions from this endowment to support the following program development-related activities for the department of accounting: • New programs such as innovations in teaching and speaker series; • Recognition awards for faculty excellence and student excellence in specific areas; and • Flexible source of funds to meet future needs of the department that are unknown at this time. • In observance of donor wishes, these funds will be used for the enhancement of excellence through "program development" within the department. In this spirit the college and the university agree that the funding from this endowment shall not be used as an opportunity to divert financial support away from the department to meet other college or university needs. |

Fund ID 02036 | Fund Description David R. Cosner Scholarship Endowment | Purpose Scholarship Qualifications and Distributions: 1. Distributions from the endowment shall be used to award scholarships to a student enrolled in the College. 2. Recipients will be enrolled full-time (a minimum of 12 hours) and in good standing with the University and the College. 3. Recipients must have a minimum 3 .0 overall GPA. 4. For each award Management majors will receive first preference, thereafter it will be open to any qualified major in the McCoy College. 5. The recipient should be a leader/officer of a McCoy College student club; and, in the judgment of the faculty sponsor of student club the recipient should display strong leadership skills, entrepreneurial spirit, a can-do attitude, and grit. 6. Subject to the approval of the College Dean, the McCoy College Scholarship Committee will .determine the selection process and select the recipients. |
